To put it simply, housing matters and that’s why for Twenty Seven years, Mississippi Valley Neighborhood Housing Services has provided lending, educational and technical assistance programs aimed at strengthening and building infrastructure that enables families to acquire a safe, affordable home of their own.

Housing represents the single largest expenditure for most American families and the largest source of wealth for most homeowners.  Residential structures comprise more than 35% of this nation’s tangible assets.  This wealth can provide an asset for old age or help for future children to attend college.

Owning a home means more than just making a house payment.  You are a member of a neighborhood, there are many items to prepare for.  We also want to assist you in planning for maintenance and repair of your investment.
